π Yummy Fried Chicken
π Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken pieces
- 2 cups buttermilk (or milk + 1 tbsp vinegar)
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- Β½ cup cornstarch
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Β½ tsp onion powder
- Oil for frying

- Marinate: Soak chicken in buttermilk + salt & pepper for 1β4 hours (or overnight).
- Coat: Mix flour, cornstarch, and spices. Dredge chicken well, pressing coating on.
- Fry: Heat oil to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Fry in batches 12β15 min, turning, until golden and cooked through.
- Rest: Drain on a rack or paper towels.

- Cornstarch = extra crunch
- Donβt overcrowd the pan
- Let coated chicken rest 10 minutes before frying for better crust
