Sticky Honey Garlic Ribs Recipe

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿณ Instructions:

  1. Prep the Ribs:
Preheat oven to 300ยฐF (150ยฐC). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs if needed. Pat dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  2. Bake Low & Slow:
Wrap ribs in foil (shiny side in) and place on a baking tray. Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.
  3. Make the Sauce:
While ribs bake, combine honey, soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger in a saucepan over medium heat. Simmer for 5 minutes. Mix cornstarch and water, stir into sauce, and simmer until thickened (about 2 more minutes). Set aside.
  4. Glaze & Broil:
Remove ribs from the oven and discard foil. Brush the ribs generously with honey garlic sauce. Broil on high for 3โ€“5 minutes, watching carefully until sticky and caramelized.
  5. Slice & Serve:
Cut ribs between the bones, drizzle with extra sauce, and serve with rice, coleslaw, or roasted veggies.

๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Tips:

  • Want smokier flavor? Add a bit of liquid smoke or grill the ribs for a few minutes after broiling.
  • Make-ahead: You can bake the ribs a day before, refrigerate, and just broil/glaze before serving.
  • Optional garnish: Sprinkle with sesame seeds or chopped green onions for a pretty finish.
