Hungarian Sour Cream Cookies

Instructions:
In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and vanilla sugar.

Add the soft butter, sour cream, and eggs. Knead everything into a soft, smooth dough. Do not overmix, just until combined.

Cover the dough and let it rest for about 20–30 minutes.

Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into shapes (squares, circles, or diamonds). You can also leave them plain or make small cuts on top for decoration.

Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 15–20 minutes, until lightly golden on the edges.

Let them cool and optionally dust with powdered sugar before serving.
