  • 500 g all-purpose flour
  • 250 g butter, softened
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 150 ml milk
  • 7 g dry yeast
  • A pinch of salt

For the filling:

  • 300 g ground walnuts
  • 200 g apricot jam
  • 150 g sugar

For the topping:

  • 150 g dark chocolate
  • 1 tbsp oil or butter

Instructions:

  1. Warm the milk slightly and dissolve the yeast in it with a little sugar. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, butter, sugar, egg, salt, and the yeast mixture. Knead into a soft dough.
  3. Divide the dough into 3 equal parts.
  4. Roll out the first layer and place it in a greased baking pan.
  5. Spread half of the apricot jam, then sprinkle half of the walnut and sugar mixture.
  6. Add the second dough layer and repeat the filling.
  7. Cover with the third dough layer.
  8. Prick the top with a fork and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  9. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 30–35 minutes until golden. Let cool completely.
  10. Melt the chocolate with oil or butter and spread evenly on top.
  11. Allow the chocolate to set, then slice into bars and serve.
