
A soft, rich, and moist chocolate cake baked in a loaf pan—perfect for coffee time or a quick dessert.
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 150 g sugar
- 120 ml milk
- 100 ml vegetable oil (or melted butter)
- 180 g all-purpose flour
- 40 g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: chocolate chips or chopped chocolate

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a loaf pan.
- Whisk eggs and sugar until light and slightly fluffy.
- Add milk, oil, and vanilla. Mix well.
- Sift in flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Mix until smooth (don’t overmix).
- Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Pour into loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 35–45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
- Let cool before slicing.
