🍗 Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken with Creamy Parmesan Pasta


🔹 Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 2 large chicken breasts (or 4 small)
  • Salt & black pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Zest of ½ lemon
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley

For the Creamy Parmesan Pasta:

  • 250g (8 oz) pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

🔹 Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

  1. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente.
  2. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.

Step 2: Cook the Chicken

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked.
  4. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
  5. Stir in lemon juice and zest.
  6. Spoon butter sauce over chicken.
  7. Sprinkle parsley and remove from heat.

Step 3: Make the Creamy Parmesan Sauce

  1. In the same pan (or separate pan), melt butter.
  2. Add garlic and sauté briefly.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and simmer 3–4 minutes.
  4. Stir in Parmesan until smooth.
  5. Add salt, pepper, and seasoning.
  6. Toss in cooked pasta. Add reserved pasta water if needed to loosen sauce.

Step 4: Serve

  • Plate creamy pasta.
  • Top with sliced lemon garlic chicken.
