- 200 g butter (cold, cubed)
- 200 g cream cheese
- 1 pinch salt
For the filling:
- 200 g ground walnuts (or poppy seeds / apricot jam)
- 100 g sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2–4 tbsp milk (if using nut filling)
For finishing:
- Powdered sugar

👩🍳 Instructions:
- Make the dough:
In a bowl, mix flour and salt. - Add cold butter and cream cheese, then knead into a soft dough.
- Divide into 2–3 portions, wrap, and chill for at least 1–2 hours.
- Prepare filling:
Mix walnuts with sugar, vanilla, and enough milk to form a thick paste.
(Or use jam directly.)
- Shape the kiffles:
Roll out chilled dough thinly. - Cut into small squares or triangles.
- Add a small spoon of filling.
- Roll into crescent shapes.
