
🧾 Ingredients:
- 300 g green peas (fresh or frozen)
- 1 carrot (sliced)
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 2 tbsp oil or butter
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1.2 L vegetable or chicken broth
- 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp sugar (optional)
- Fresh parsley (chopped)
For the dumplings:
- 1 egg
- 3–4 tbsp flour
- 1 pinch of salt

👩🍳 Instructions:
- Heat oil in a pot and sauté the chopped onion until soft.
- Add paprika, stir quickly, then pour in the broth.
- Add green peas and sliced carrot. Season with salt, pepper, and a little sugar if desired.
- Simmer for 15–20 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- For the dumplings, mix egg, flour, and salt into a soft batter.
- Drop small spoonfuls into the simmering soup.
- Cook for another 5–7 minutes until the dumplings are cooked through.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot.
