Fluffy Cinnamon Rolls (Quick & Soft Recipe)

Ingredients

Dough

  • 250 ml warm milk
  • 7 g dry yeast (1 packet)
  • 1 egg
  • 80 g sugar
  • 80 g melted butter (or oil)
  • 450 g all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Filling

  • 100 g soft butter
  • 120 g brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon

Glaze (optional but delicious)

  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tbsp milk or cream
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Instructions

1. Make the dough

  1. Mix warm milk, yeast, and 1 tbsp sugar. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add egg, remaining sugar, melted butter, salt, and flour.
  3. Knead until soft and smooth (about 5–8 minutes).
  4. Cover and let rise for 45–60 minutes.

2. Prepare filling

  • Mix soft butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon into a spreadable paste.

3. Shape the rolls

  1. Roll dough into a rectangle.
  2. Spread filling evenly.
  3. Roll tightly into a log.
  4. Cut into equal slices.

4. Bake

  1. Place in a baking dish.
  2. Let rest 15 minutes.
  3. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes until golden.

5. Glaze

  • Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Drizzle over warm rolls.
