🧾 Ingredients:

For the cake:

  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 150 g butter
  • 150 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 120 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the chocolate glaze:

  • 150 g dark chocolate
  • 100 ml heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp butter

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Melt chocolate:
    Melt chocolate with butter over low heat or in a double boiler. Let cool slightly.

  1. Prepare batter:
    Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy.
  2. Slowly mix in the melted chocolate mixture.

  1. Add dry ingredients:
    Combine flour, baking powder, and salt, then fold into the batter.

  1. Bake:
    Pour into a greased cake pan.

🔥 Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30–35 minutes, until set but still moist.


  1. Make glaze:
    Heat cream until warm (not boiling), then pour over chopped chocolate.
  2. Stir until smooth and add butter.

  1. Finish:
    Pour glaze over cooled cake and spread evenly.
