- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 120 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 50 ml oil or melted butter
- 200–300 g fresh or canned fruit (apricots, cherries, plums, berries)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)

- Prepare batter:
Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla until light, pale, and fluffy. - In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gently fold dry ingredients into the egg mixture.
